Heavy Swordsman implies seriously heavy damage. We should be able to wield dual swords to increase kinetic damage and possibly a massive defence to knock down.

as cool as dual wielding would be--if anyone gets it, it should be fencers. Our weapons are much too huge to be wielding 2 at the same time

as for def. vs. knockdown: balance will never be the strong point of someone wielding a sword as tall as they are.

I would this to happen to swordsman as well but in reality our swords are the size of us and we have to have 2 hands on just one. Unless they create a new race with 4 hands i dont think Swordsman can ever duel wield. Its more of a fencer skill.

While I do agree that dual wielding should be in the game at some point...I don't think it would belong to us. We are "heavy swordsman"...which implies heavy damaging weapons...ie.....two handed weapons like the PH and 2h curved sword. fencers and pistoleers are where the dual wielding belongs if you ask me....my opinion anyhow.

Absolutely, we are not a finesse class like fencers, we deal damage through sheer brute force, using massive heavy blades, there's no way we'd be able to wield two at once. Well, maybe we lizards and wookiees could, but not you pu-ny hu-maans

Definitely a fencer skill, not a heavy swordsman skill for sure.

Though I would like to see us get more in the ways of state altering attacks, hitting someone in the head repeatedly with a 25lb explosive sledgehammer is bound to at least stun them once or twice.

i think duel wielding for weapons should be a hybrid profession. that takes the trees 1-hand and 2-hand in novice brawler. because really fencers do not have the streagth to wield 2 weapons since one arm is always doing teh work while the other is just by his side to keep his balance and stuff.

2-hand doesn't desrve it ether since our class ifs about picking up anything we can wield with 2-hands and hit stuff as hard as we can with it.

but any way dual wielding figting is diffrent then fencer fighting. when wielding two weapons you have less balance and do not dodge as much you would more likly block or counter attack more often. also the moves would be diffrent and the class would be mainly based on huge hitting area attacks, combo attacks and maybe a kd ttack in there some where. but it's weakness is not having any state changes and having no blees except one that is from a weapon.
