I've heard alot about this scythe and i really wanna do the quest..the thing is i need to know were to start it and how do i restart it after also could it be done solo in a few hours?

Getting the schematic is fairly easy when buffed. Check the top of the page for the Scythe FAQ, it'll walk you through the steps.
