How would this work in a hammer? I got an acklay bone that is 83 max damage, which is ok, but the min damage is 280. Wondering if it would work well in a hammer, or should i sell it to a fencer for a stun baton and keep looting for a better bone. (This is the best i have looted post nerf).

Would be better to ask in the weaponsmith forum.
IMO though it would actually be better to use in a powerhammer than a stun baton.
If a weapon normally comes out to 100-100 dmg the bone would make it 380-183. I don't know if that would turn into 380-380 though. A powerhammer has enough difference in min and max that I think you wouldn't run into that problem.

certainly dont sell it to a fencer, it will make an awesome pvp weapon.
my basic PH's are 138-467ish and that is with 41-41reinforcement cores... expect your weapon to hit around 380-505... with a nice damage slice you have yourself a lurvely imp bashing stick.

it will make a good pvp hammer, it will help to void the effects of mitigation. It will be better than any current non loot hammer, how ever themax damage wont be that great. But it will definately outstandingly increase the minimum damage...which is what hurts this profession the most, well excluding accuracy issues.
What I'd do is have minimal experimentation on damage...get it up to par +some extra...then have the rest tossed into range modifiers...get that puppy hitting more accurately and you'd have a NICE pvp hammer....well as good as a hammer can get for pvp =P

will make a nice power hammer. Just make sure the smith experiments for accuracy cause it beshame to have such a nice bone wasted on a weapon that cant hit squat.
