Should i wait till after the CU to slice my 367 damage scythe ??

yep. in the CU, the better the resources/components you use to make a weapon, the lowe the slicing % will be

Well, it's actually more complicated. You have three options. The question should be, should I get it sliced now, after CU or after the Smuggler Revamp, which is supposed to be after the CU. Go to the In Concept forum and you can read what the new slicing system will be.

The problem is they are changing the items we slice before they change our abilities to slice it, and not at the same time as one would expect. So what we have is a small window when slicing will really suck, so by all means, don't get it sliced after CU and before the revamp. The main problem with slicing as I've seen in test and from my fellow smugglers is some weapons have a hard cap and slicing by a master can easily meet it so a lot of people are ending up with nothing but 7% speed slices.

With the new system, we will have more control over what we slice and how. I highly recommend reading the In Concept docs to get a better idea of what they've promised us smugglers, but as all smugglers know, few of the devs promises to us have ever been honored. They first promised to fix smuggler in Sept of 2003.

BTW anyone on Corbantis need slicing today let me know. I'll try to be on as much as possible to slice for anyone who needs it.
