Thread: Force Defender + Master Swordsman

master swordman/master def/force healing 4000


melee def = 340+ 50 2hand sword= 390 mele def?

range def 290+50 = 340 ran def?

no more drain from moronic sabre force costs

1k+ dam 2 hand weapons since sabre only hit 800 max now

swordman has better attack then sabre (minus a sabre throw type though)


hmm, shrugs it looks good to me, what am i missing ?

that sounds interesting..


would that keep you off of the bounty hunter terminals? i'm pretty ignorant of how that whole system works, but isn't just if you use your lightsaber?


i'd bet that after the CU hits live, there will be a whole new crop of bounty hunters after the jedi population.

you get on the terms if u do anything that affects ur force pool


that is a really good idea imo u can heal ur self, u have good armor, u have CoB and Valor you also have Dominate Mind and Taunt(or was that moved to master?) then u have aura to play with, also u can while on the ground and since u will not be using a saber u shouldnt have much of a problem with force, then again u wont have much of max force pool or a regen rate ne ways

I'm asuming that you are already high enough en jedi to be able to respec to master defender? Because I see no possiblity of grinding to that template...

Why would you use armor when you are master defender?

Only problem I can see with this is that you would never gain any more Jedi XP as all your offence is centered around a non-jedi attack which would only bring sword XP and no more Jedi XP.

Im considering something along the same lines. However its one of those choices that would be hard to go back on because massive -jedi xp would ensue.

I too had this idea a few weeks ago. But then i was informed that force defender mods dont work unless u are holding a lightsaber (not 100% on that but pretty sure)

  • Jedi Lightsaber specials, Jedi defenses, and Jedi powers still do not work while wearing armor.

    • So u may get full defender benifits while using a sword
