Swordsman Archive

ok i'm a master swordsman and working carbineer and master brawler. One how far in the carbineer tree do i go to get best defenses without going to far and wasting skill points? Also would anyone reccommend master brawler or work the teri kasi tree instead? Just want some of your suggestions. thanks
