I'm an MCM/0444 HS. And I was wondering what works better for you guys, attacking fast and accurately, or hitting hard. I have a 1.7 spd(sliced)62-264 AP2 Two-Handed Sword that I use most often. I bought a Power Hammer, but I wasn't very impressed with it. I could take down a Rancor in 4-5 hits, but it was so hard to land those hits it just didnt seem worth it. With my 2-handed sword, I hit every time, and I timed myself, it actually took me less time to bring the rancor down than with the PH. I love the Swordsman proff, but with MCM I'm limited on how far I can progress. And no, I cant afford an Acklay hammer.

I'd say get a damage sliced sword, and a speed sliced hammer. Also keep your eyes open for 2 handed speed tapes.
Umm, you are a heavy swordsman. Go to ackley and ask him for a nice set of 220/200 bones. Then goto your favorite weaponsmith and get yourself a nice hammer made

Without master I think you'll find that the faster weapons work a lot better for you. Even with master it's hard to make a Power Hammer work. Unfortunately, Power Hammers really only excel when you have enough speed tapes to speed cap (ideally along with some accuracy tapes).

agreed^ not to mention when you hit more often with less damage that miss or 2 isnt quite so costly

Without Master I'd say Scythe is what you need. Fast, more powerful than a 2 handed sword with better minimum damage (by far.), and better accuracy.Keep a good hammer for high kinetic resist opponents.

Hard to say, I use various different weapons of different slice jobs and stats; I mainly use the 2-Hand Curved and Cleaver and I seem to do best with the Geonosian 2-hand Curved that does 2.5 69-312 42.9% wound, though my Rancor 2-Hand Curved does 3.7 26-290 55.7% wound (speed sliced to 2.9) is nearly as good but is less accurate due to weight. Mainly I suggest getting a speed sliced 2-Handed Curved or Scythe until you hit master, my stock one is sliced to 2.0 speed and is nice and fast on most targets.
I don't really like the PH and I've seen people use it and miss 9 out of 10 times against their targets. If I face a target with no or little blast resistance, I pull out my Launcher pistol and hammer the Healthshot key and I hit them almost everytime.

Scythes are the best bladed weapons for a non master, powerhammers are fine at master, i rearly miss 2 times in a row with one, you have plenty of speed to use a powerhammer, be it speed or dmg sliced.

i have this two handed sword that i still use occaisonally, depend on how hard the creature is (i'm 2/4/4/4 right now), it's 2.3 or2.4 or soand 78-311 damage i believe.

I have a cleaver, accuracy is something like -5, but with skills taken into account that comes out positive. It has great damage, and the speed is something like 2.9, but it still seems to do less than my faster/more accurate/lower damage 2 hander. Oh well. Looks like I need to keep an eye out for SEA's.
