Thread: Building Ultimate PVE Template...Suggestions?
I am new at all this template creating, but this is my plan for what I hope of being the "ultimate melee tank". I do not plan to pvp with this, this will mostly be pve char.
Master Swordsman
Master Brawler (intimidate2, ranged kd , extra speed and acc)
TKA 4,3,0,4 (lots of defense, Meditation, Force of will, Power boost )
Fencer 4,4,0,0 (more defences, should be close to the cap on melee and ranged, at this point)
Medic 0,0,4,0 (Stim D's experimneting down for med use )
What do you guys think ?
all these templates sound good, but for the "hunter" dude, i wouldnt get the last exploration box of scout, only gives ya burst run mods and some mask scent mods.
with exploration 3 u can get around onall theplanets fine with mask scent, so u really dont need exploration 5.
instead put it into medic first aid line, so then you can heal bleeds in the middle of a fight. mob dealt bleeds dont take to much to cure anyways.
just some advice
Master Sword/Master Doc....
Being able to use good stims and remove states is huge. Not to mention buffs.
Novice Entertainer 0-0-0-0
Novice Scout 0-0-1-0 (for Hunting 1)
Doctor 4-4-4-0
This is definitly for the solo hunter.
Master Swordsman for obvious reasons
Entertainer to get rid of BF
Scout so you can harvest the meat, hide or bone
Doctor for self buffin, healing diseases, poison, bleeds, etc...as well as all your uber stim action

More counter attack and a ranged KD. CAn still buff to a high level and can use stimEs.
dude i used to have this template.
it was my first pvp swordsman-oriented template. wanted that ranged kd bad, hehe.
it was pretty good back in the days when defenses werent working, but now it sucks. way to little accuracy, and the doc parts good and all, but you still cant heal poison or anything of the sort.
heres a very similar but alltogether much more effective template:
Master Swordsman/smuggler 0-0-3-0/pistoleer 0-4-0-0/teras kasi artist 4-0-0-4/medic 4-0-0-4.
this allows you to buff your primaries to around 1500 (depending on race and ur personal structure), heal poison/disease, use stim d's (which r cheaper than e's, and not much worse), knock down ur opponent from afar with low blow with prettygood accuracy, have fairly good defense (60 ranged, 82 melee, itll make up for no having the 125 counter attacks), and of course do ultra dmg from master swordsman.
but try ur template out, experience it. its still fun, cept combat xp is a pain. just, once u see how it is, i think ull wanna change.
