Swordsman Archive

Simple question, a few people have told me that the counter attack skill that swordsmen get does not work. Yet I have seen it in my combat window say that I counter attacked a few times during some fights. I would like to know if I have wasted my time choosing swordsman as one of my professions before it's too late and I leveled him past the point of no return.

It doesn't actually counter-attack no, but it functions perfectly well in avoiding damage...

When you counterattack, no damage is taken and your next attack on that target is unblockable. The first part works (no damage taken) but the counterattack on the target can be avoided.

Works in my book. As long as I dont take damage
