When I finally Got to the village I was able to get free unlocks for melee speed and melee accuracy. The +12 melee speed row OMG i hit evey 2 seconds with a 5.9 acklay hammer. I happy very very happy

I did the same thing, it makes you a god without spending crap loads of credits on tapes.

yeah, enhanced melee speed rocks.
i wish enhanced ranged speed worked

so the melee speed row acually works? does it go like plus 1 melee speed = plus 1 sword speed?

yes, that is exactly how it works. if you have master sword + master brawler, your effective 2handed speed will now be +92.
i went from headhit3 every 3 seconds on my 5.5 hammer to once per second with this line.

free branch unlocks are granted for each holo prof you mastered.
if you didn't do any holos, you will have to wait until the correct phase of the village and do the combat quest in order to unlock the melee speed branch.

ok thanks for the info i forgot where it was posted(hopes that I unlocked a profession in the 4 I did without using a holocron

now get master brawler +3 tapes youll cap out man hammer with 800 dmg OMGZ!! perseccond its crazy. When i was waiting for my old man, I was Dueling and i went up to another master swordsman /tt wanan duel no armor? hes liek eh i wont wear armor but you can... so i responded ok etc etc i used my scythe its 2.4 448 now i got owned i was like OUCH 10 min laster i was master brawler

With my looted tapes and the speed tree, I'm at +104 speed now. By the way, the luck tree (my other free unlock) doesn't help at ALL.

Oh man that is great news... With my +4 speed tape i'll get to +96 .

yea sucks that ive got to wait for the phase to get the skill. never was a holo grinder. but i cant wait to be using my 912max dmg hammer at capped speed
