Hey, i was planning on doing the scythe quests. and i was wondering what you guys put in your scythes.

Did you just use yellow lettered sword cores?

Or did you go through the trouble to get the yellow cubes?

speaking as a weaponsmith and a swordsman, I've always used yellow cubes, and solidifying agents. 98% of the time my cores are better than any of the loot ones, but on the rare occasion a loot core may have 1 stat the beats a well crafted one. These are extremly rare and ussaly that 1 stat is counter blanced buy some real crappy stats on somthing else. I'm sure legendary cores have droped that would beat a crafted one, BUT I've never seen one. Anyways sorry for rambling, for your question I would recomend going with crafted cores if at all possible.

Do it right. Spend a week or two in the Geo cave getting good quality yellow cubes and solidifying agents. Get enough for two scythes, and get them made at the same time. It's worth the extra effort, and the cave is pretty fun, too.
