Thread: LS specials not being blocked by armor

I just cloned after a visit to the NS labor camp. went in, killed the elder (got a crystal, yay), then trounced about and a SENTINEL killed me. Needless to say, i was a little peturbed. I looked at my combat channel and this is what i saw:


LS Special Not Blocked By Armor

and no, she wasn't using a stun baton

NS have force powers which are not affected by anything hope that answers your question..

Cascade of hatred is not a force power(like choke or knockdown), it is 1 handed saber flurry 1.


Lightsaber specials SHOULD NOT be bypassing armor, thats just insane.

It does happen from time to time. I can't remember how many times its happened to me with non-stun melee weapons.

and i think we should push for a fix. as swordsmen, nightsisters are one of our primary targets. Maybe the tka boards could get behind us on this.

Yeah, LS attacks aren't blocked, many of us are victim to it, i have even Sith Thugs use Phantom Attack and many other LS Moves.

Haven't had them use a LS attack yet. Just uber ranged specials.


Whats wierd is sometimes they work properly. I.E. a NS with a lance useing a saber special and armor blocking it properly. THen the next second it rips through you like tissue paper.

from wat i can see from that pic it looks like ur only wearing helmet chest gloves and boots so if thats wat u were only wearing then it probably hit the unprotected part.

Actualy I Beleive your armor did block a certain ammount of that, it just didnt log it in the combat log, my reason for this is I had a NS Sent use the same exact special while she had a stun baton equiped, I had no stun armor on, and it about 2.5kDamage yes 2500, now your NS Didnt do that much damage with a kenetic weapon might be a loging issue with LS attacks.
