If your working on her you might have to run from her sometimes if you dont stay on top of the bleeds that can tear you up pretty fast.
Make sure she is not using a stun baton before anything, now as your working her good if you start to get halfway down on your ham burst run from her but continue to keep her agro'd (at some point she should just start walking toward you) once your ham get back up taunt/intimidate and start wailing on her again.

Do you have First Aid 2 from Medic? If you don't I recomend you get it to keep a grip on the bleeds cause the Elders and other High End NS will stack some pretty nasty Bleeds on you I got one that was 1200+ before. And you should also have a nice PowerHammer in an around the 600+ area and go with 2 Mind Hits to get a Bleed on then just Hammer there head with Head Hit 3 and you shouldn't have a problem...unless she has a Stun Baton. And also I find it easier when she has an AP0 weapon since your probably gonna be wearing 80% Kinetic Comp Armor and even though she is an Elder she can't do sh*t to you with a Wood Staff

soloing elders has a few requirements of its own:
you need to be speed capped on swordsman (your speed mod needs to read 94 or 95)
you need at least 2-0-0-0 in medic so you can heal the bleeds
you need a 80% energy 90% base composite suit (the base will protect you to all of the dmg types the Nightsisters can deal out to you except stun dmg)
also a good Powerhammer (acklay/geo-core enhanced powerhammer will more than 80% be needed, its a Powerhammer you need, not a sword, you should aim for 650+ max dmg Powerhammers to get a nice effective weapon against the Nightsisters)
i suggest you take up Master Doctor/Master Swordsman if you wish to PvE-Solo alot

I would have to say that the ideal template for killing nightsisters of any sort, would be master brawler, master swords, and master medic, this will allow you to heal bleeds thoroughly and quickly, which is the main threat when fighting most NS's, and the intimidate2 sticks alot longer than intimidate1, allowing you to spend less time intimidating and more time hammering. Things you always want to look out for in any batch of NS's are: Stun batons, double piece weapons (Long Vibroaxe, Two Handed Curved-Sword, Cleaver, etc etc), and the bleeds. Heal any bleeds the instance you get them, take out any NS's that are using the above mentioned weapons (A sentinel with a vibro axe is a bigger threat than a protector with a wood staff) first. You can usually tank stun batons as long as they're not on an elder, you have 40% or better stun protection on your armor, and you keep them intimidated. I'd suggest joining the bank on dathomir so you can store spices like muon gold and ...you know, i forgot the name of the other one, it adds like 1400 health or something, i never use it anymore, anyway, that way you can store your spices in the bank without having to carry them around with you the rest of the time (incase of those random stormy searches). Spices can turn the times when situations turn for the worst. If you follow these guidelines, you should be pretty well off. (Also, you might want to get some 85%+ base composite, not exactly a MUST, but it makes your life easier.) One more thing on armor, it is only REQUIRED that you use your gloves, chestplate, helmet, and boots to block all parts of your body, no use in sucking up unneccessary encumberance.

While that might be all that is required, I find that I usually take less dmg when I wear a full set as apposed to the only chest, boots, helm, and gloves. I've worn both full and partial while taking on all sorts os ns and kryats. But to each his own.
