Another thing i admit is that ill probably stay and try the new game, since the more twitch-based combat and compelling gcw seem very promising. But, for me at least, there will always be something missing from this game after Swordsman is all but deleted.

On top of being a Swordsman since launch ive been a Swordsman pvpr since launch. throughout all the different phases this game has gone through ive managed to stay king of the hill on my server when it comes to swordsman, and melee in general when it comes to pvp. all in all its been an incredible experience though, many fun times.

Anyways all you old school swordsman, /salute, and here's to hoping the new system is worth playing.

yup you owned PvP as Swordsmen on our server but i owned PvE on our server as a swordsmen.

But yup you are definatly one of teh great swordsmen on our server. There was for a time FOTM Swordsmen that just pissed me off because they were giving my profession a bad name. THe sucked at the profession but still did well. It was really sad.

btw i just realized we have never dueled before... we sould do that before the new changes go in.

id love to man but alas im not playing atm, soonest ill be able to get on swg again is christmas, well after the changes will be introduced

also check out the "your swordsman story" thread or whatever its called, i list my points of how i agree with you on the subject of how our profession was flooded with mediocrity.

also i think i saw you on the battleground a few times... ah and around minos long ago. think i may have a few screenies infact, but they would be on the computer that i play swg with, and im not on that atm. didnt you have a bad connection though?

Picked up swords in December 2003. Turned it from a PvE profession into the best melee PvP profession and player on Intrepid. Got picked for the CU alpha because of my experience (for all the good it did... they never listened or cared). Post-CU, I was still an incredible PvPer.

I am Swordsman, and Swordsman is who I am. I am crushed by this. This has finally destroyed the game for me. I don't care if its faster paced, and what not. All the effort I've put into this game has come to nothing. and for what? A bunch of greedy, moneysucking **edit**.

ahh dang man i didn't realize.


ya we did a few times. But massive PvP was fun and all but i excelled in Smaller battles. Tehehe me and Chaos'e used to destroy the imp outpost on talus every day. me and him took on like 3-4 people every time there and used to win lol. Most of the tatics that i use today i learned from that guy. He was a really great guy. Sadly after he and chiro left i stopped PvPing. Just wasn't the same to PvP any more without them around. So i mostly stuck to duels and a big battle once in awhile.

ah dude chaos'e!!!! me and him played together ALL THE TIME in the first two months of this game... when he was trying to get mpikeman and i was trying to get mswords, wed head to the narglatch caves. and yea he was a good pvpr, wed go to theed all the time hehe. i saw him fight apake, if you remember him. probably the only two mpikeman on the server at that time hehe.
