according to the FAQ (or another post i read) you will be able to keep current prof titles when the new CU hits.

I plan on switching mine to Master Swordsman the next time i log in. (im a warrior or something now, most people know who i am)

I suggest you do the same. we will ride into whatever sunset may await us with our tags held high.

i just got to thinking and i cant remember if it was titles or badges that we get to keep. im thinking that it was probably badges... oh well, ill try and find the post to confirm.

i hope it is titles.

i will never get rid of my Master Swordsmen title.

I like the plan but i jsut dont know what is going to happen.

i just wish i was able to make it to that meeting they invited me to to check out the changes...

but im glad to hear you got invited, you deserved to go to represent us. ive seen the work you put in on Beta and testing.

I wasn't a Swordsman for long, however for the short gleaming moments that I were, especially pre-CU... I felt power.

Pure.

Raw.

Power.


The ease with which I could charge headfirst into lairs and demolish them all was incredible... for that, and to acknownledge this profession? I intend to wear at least some tag from the Swordsman profession with pride. Not all the time, no... but there will be times where I will, just to show the world "I was a Swordsman, and DAMNIT I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT!" I also have a Master Swordsman badge that I'm quite proud of, and I honestly won't forget even those few moments I had it for it... I in all honesty regret not keeping it.

I jsut wish that i knew then what i know now.

Cuz i would have definetly gone. I mean this isn't some little change, this is a major change that a swordsmen needed to test out right from the start.

But any way. first second this goes on test center i will be using my 3 characters and trying out how melee works with each of the professions we are supposivly apart of...

I have 3 fully templated characters there and will use the respect there to test them out. And how good the vet buffs work.

I really really hope that melee still has a strong place in the game. If it isn't then i will be sad.

I do not want to go jedi. But if it is the only viable way to play melee then i guess it will have to be what it is.
