Hi ya all.

Still waiting on that darn Sandbox. We've had a lot of good conversations about what we've seen thus far though and many of us are still very excited about the CU.

That said, a couple of the Swordsmen testers have been absent of late. I've been chatting with these guys off and on during the wait for the SB and I think that for at least one there may be RL reasons they aren't around and that they'll return full-force for the CU.

But i want to be prepared. The alternate list is dwindling and I'd like to make sure I have good names of people to submit when and if I ask for replacements to go in before the Sandbox. I also think that, as it's been a while, it would be good to reinvigorate the process by letting some people submit new applications.

So here's the lowdown:

Important: Not following these directions well is a good way to say to me that you wouldn't follow directions well in the SB either.

1. If you are on the Sandbox Team now, please contact me and let me know that you are still around.
   
2. In the future, I would prefer if players on the Sandbox could contact me regularly (weekly or so) to let me know that they are still active.
   
3. If you submitted an application before and would like to be considered for a new alternate list, please PM again and I will let you know if I have your prior application. If you want to resubmit a new application you can do that as well.
   
4. If you never submitted an application, you can do so now. Please PM me following the format prescribed in this post:
   
   • What are your experiences with Star Wars Galaxies and the Swordsmen profession?
     
   • What skills do you have that would be particularly useful for this test?
     
   • How much time do you realistically have to give to this testing? Are you flexible for dates given that we don't know when this might occur?
     
   • Do you consider yourself more PvE- or PvP-oriented or do you play a roughly equal mix of both?
     
   • What do you think about where Swordsmen are now and should be going?
   
   
5. I reserve the right to swap out testers whenever I need to if it's not clear that someone is active or will be active for the SB test.
   
6. Remember that testing on the SB is more a job than it is a reward. You will be expected to follow directions and you should try to look at this as a responsibility and not just a way to peek at new content sooner.

It's also important to note that this isn't a guarantee that there will be any new testers chosen. I still have to be satisfied that other testers are inactive and I have to ask for the favor the Sandbox Gods in replacing inactives.

• Ive hunted whit swordsman while hologrinding when i was swordsman 0/4/0/4 cause i didnt wanne drop it and now my alt is an almost speed capped swordsman... ive hunted elders,krayt,all high end lvl mobs that u can imagine

• I do a mix of both,i pvp'ed whit swordsman,but most likely PVE since the hammers are not really effective in PvP and i yet have to obtain an exceptional powerhammer

• Right now they are perfect for PvE whit the right template.. and i think they should be damage dealers cause of the powerhammer... they are and they should stay like that
