That would go in the place of an advanced sword core, which is better than that. You would be getting a worse weapon than what you have currently.

The sword cores that I make for example are something like 43max/45min damage with -.61s delay and 6/6/6 or so HAM usage (note sure about the HAM usage). The rancor tooth would be used in place of this and therefore you would lose all of those bonuses and replace them with bonuses that are not nearly as good.

I've seen alot of rancor teeth in my time, and never have I seen one that lowers the speed of a sword.

The 0.5 "less" speed on that tooth is more likely to be +0.5, making it slower.

You might wanna double check that..

I collected 7 rancor teeth, and i gave them to my weaponsmith. He crafted one of each weapon using Advanced Sword Cores, and One of each using Rancor teeth. All the weapons made using teeth came out to be Much Much Worse than those using advanced sword cores. Dont Buy them, trust me.

PS. you couldnt put a rancor tooth in a Powerhammer even if you wanted to.

Roryy's right about the powerhammer bit. In fact, as far as I know, there aren't *any* enhancements for powerhammers.

They really need to do something about the stats. Krayt tissues enhance weapon components rather than replacing them. Why can't we get melee items that do the same? Anyway... loot in this game as a whole needs to be redone. The things that drop *rarely* off of nightsisters and rancors should be dropping off of midlevel mobs instead, and nightsisters and rancors should be dropping things much much better stat-wise.

Hi all! i just found some one that sells rancor tooth for 100k and whit one of those i get:

16-10-9 more HAM
8 more min dmg
56 more max dmg
25 more wounds
0.5 less speed
ideal range mod -8


i ask my WS if she thik that it was a good ide to put one in a power hammer, 2H curved or a 2H Cleaver and she dindt thik that was a good ide?

just whant to ask you ppl what you mean? i know i get some more ham cost! but i get sow mutch good stuf from one tooth alsow what would you do? how many tooth can a weapon have?

i completly agree......ive looted some weapons off rancors and nightsisters that i could find on the bazaar.....yet i have looted force crystals off of meatlumps?

could the devs have been high when they did this?
