Thread: What to train in Swordsman first?

just as the subject says. I usually have a hard time deciding sense i have no idea what is best to start with

Get 001x to begin with, this will allow you to use spin attack 2. Then get 041x which is speed increase. After that it is just a matter of getting the rest of the XP to get master.

The first speed box, even tho its just +15 makes such a big difference its scary

you dont get the +15 till the 2nd box of speed.

I ment the first +speed we get in box 2


Got all the speed boxes line done last night and damm I can mow through mobs like butter now lol.

I wish I had thought to ask / read around this forum first. I started with the defense line, really thinking that the melee mitigation would be a huge factor in survivablilty. And basically I spread things around from there. Now I have forsaken that, and have resolved myself to finishing the speed line first, having just gotten the first speed increase in that line and seen what a significant difference it does make.


While your at it, keep shopping around for quality Power Hammers, Swords, and the attendant upgrades. If you have a good relationship with a weaponsmith you'll be golden (moreso if you yourself may be that weaponsmith).

Well, if you have a suplus of combat xp coming from another elite profession, just pump them into the 0004 tree.

i mastered a long time ago and i found that the advice i got back than works now- go up tech (for the speed and head hits)... find a good ph or curved.... and head hit your way to master
