Which 3 would you go up for maximum effect? Would I be better off going 4/4/0/4 or 0/4/4/4?

I would get 4004 TKA and not take swordsman at all.
It's not a dabble-friendly profession, you really need all the speed bonuses you can get or you'll be pretty useless with a hammer.
That said, get 0444 and you can make decent use of a scythe.

Pretty much said it all, the TKA route would be better seeing as how you can get more damage output by just dabling. Also by getting 4xxx in TKA you wouldnt need medic to heal wounds, and if u have to heal urself then you are just prolonging your death.

I used to be 0404 for a long time when I was tkm and pistoleer. i killed NS and krayts all the time. just takes about twice as long.
