Thread: NPC Specials/Weapons Fixed on Test

NPC's are once again using specials, switching and using weapons, etc., on Test. That means, among other things, that Nightsisters are using the force again. Definitely returns a bit of extra challenge to combat (but it's not a vast increase in power -- NPC's have longer delays when they use specials, they aren't speed capped).

Anyway, just a heads up -- presumably this will make it to live soon.

Thanks for the heads-up....as a result, I am removing 11 Quality, 7 Good and 3 Premium Crystals off my vendor in the morning in anticipation of severely reduced drop rate due to non-solable Nightsisters coming to a neighborhood near you soon.

Just out of curiousity what kinds of numbers are the NS's putting up as far as force damage? Also, have you seen any mobs now accurately switching in and out of range and changing their weapons accordingly?

All in all a good patch that will help get things the way they are supposed to be (i.e. realistic)

Ditto on the crystals, sorry Jedi

Solo'ing an Elder might be an accomplishment once more.

You know if Jedi NPCs have their sabers back? that was always a buzz.

If the force powers are like they used to be its a total pain. I remember when you saw *choke* you knew you were in trouble. I used to fight them before the days of uber brandy, ahrisa, and canape so it might not be as big of a deal as it once was.

I have to disagree. I hopped on TC for a bit, and I would say it's quite substantial. Not so much on the lower levels of NPCs, but boss mobs are no longer soloable, or are, at the least, MUCH more difficult to solo. I don't even want to see what the DWB is going to be like after this. Overlord is going to be nearly impossible, what with the Bloodguards, Wraiths, and SBDs protecting him... and now they'll all be able to do AOE. Can't wait to be adv strafed by a wraith.

Glad we got our piece of mandalorian already, as I can't see anyone going up against the DWB with this kind of damage output. I sincerely hope they re-evaluate some of these dungeons now that this fix is in, as they were obviously designed with the old NPCs in mind. Ah well.

Edit: Oh god. I hope jedi npcs don't have sabers back. With the vuln, DJMs won't be able to be killed period. One hit kills for entire groups if they use a spin attack. Ugh.

I'm pulling all 15 of my quality crystals off the vendor in the morning and sitting on them for a month.
