I am thinking of Dropping Rifleman, it has been fun and all that but now I can get decent armour with resists over 50% I can tank for the first time!

I have always faniced being a swordswookiee and think now might be the time. I have a question about defences though.

I intend to be a Doc 0-4-4-0, Master SwordsWookiee - this leaves me with 47 sp.

I was hoping to master brawler as I have heard the defence and speed helps, but as chance would have it I am 1sp short.

Is ther any suggestions on the best way to spend these points? I like having Scout skills to harvest, but I have read that TKM adds to my defences?

Any suggestions?

Hey there. Well you have a good idea about some of those things. obviously you cant do Master Brawler, so the next step to to access what you will be doing. If you are going to plan to do some PvP, i would suggest perhaps some fencer. Those defenses are alot better than any other defenses in the game. TKM does have some good defenses, but not nearly as good as fencer. not to mention, TK is an offensive onslaught and focuses on that. You can tank like crazy as a TKM though. It highly depends on your play style.

Swordsman is very good for PvE as im sure you have researched. If you are goning for that play style then you could definetly pick up some TKM, but i noticed you picked up the middle two lines of doctor. I could only assume you are looking to be able to Rez and Buff? if thats the case, you should honestly just go the full way of doctor, to get the wound treatment bonuses. no only that but you can treat your own diseases and poisons, and you can buff other people and make cash (and thats only good if you can buff people well. no one wants to pay for a low level buff. if you cant get it the buff over 2k atleast, then you shouldnt even bother.) In terms of buffing, be sure to get those +25 wound treatment clothes and some bivoli. those are a must.

If you can forego the self buffing, and get pay 10k, you can save yourself a ton of skill points and go full TKM, or fencer. then you can even give up half of medic and actually do all 3 of those, and still keep some medic skills.

I am personally a Swordsman and Master Doc, just for the sake of being a PvE machine. I can self buff and heal out in the field, the only thing i really need to ever return to town for is to heal my mind. which i often have to do, but being a master doc definetly has its plus side. espiclaly when you are bored and just feel like buffing people and making some cash. You could always do swordsman, and doc, and maybe pick up some scout so you can get your own organics to make some buffs this way you dont have to use anyone elses...

Like i said, it all depends on your playstyle. i hope this helps!

take care!

Thanks for a great reply Xero - you have helped me decide and it is pretty much as you said.

I think that I will go Master Doc Master Swordsman with some Scout. This will give me the ability to harvest my own organic resources for stims. I am guessing that with Master Doc the extra healing ability will pretty much negate the extra defences.

Time to get killing....
