What's the best way to solo one of these evilelder you-know-what's with swordsman. I have doc and can heal myself too. Do I just need a kick-ass power hammer or what? Any help would be appreciated.

I wasn't aware that there was a recent change. So which profession is the best equipped to handle NPC's with 100% resist to just about everything except blast then? Wouldn't it be swordsman or are we talking rifleman.

With Nightsisters now using force powers again I would suggest that anything above an initiate is going to be hard solo
Certainly groups of nightsisters is going to be out of the question and I think taking down protectors or elders is gonna need large organised groups now.

its unfortunite i know, the devs are just trying to get us used to not soloing high lvl mobs now, in preperation for the combat revamp when they proceed in making us EVEN WEAKER.
before though, good armor, intimidate 2 and center of being with a good powerhammer or scythe and a cup of coffee.

Yeah, good luck soloing anything now. I don't even want to try to solo an elder now. My armor will fall apart as soon as she busts out that stun baton.

You've got to admit, no one should have ever been able to solo an Elder. I applaud this change and hope it brings back some long lostexcitment.
Swordsman should still be able to solo NS's, but you have to draw them back 1 or 2 at a time rather than charging in. Just watch out for that force debuff they use... owch!

Are you a rifleman or a swordsman and how long did it take you?

I soloed an elder earlier on my bros char. My friend soloed an elder. Its not impossible. I sat out there for a full buff session and i never seen any power that made you lose your buffs. Is that debilitate? Every time they did that they missed. But oh well. With my rifle/cm backing up my friend it was just as easy as it ever was, and solo on my bros char i just had to pop a couple of stims (never had to before). On a side note, right before my buffs went out i got hit in the head 2 times in about 3 seconds for 1300 and 1500 of pure unblockable damage, and i was just fighting one sentinal. Needless to say i didnt have to drive back. But this was on my rifle/cm, i didnt seem to get hit with those high numbers as my bros swords.

I just soloed 2 elders one at a time. You will have to have a superior acklay hammer, mine is 400-920 give or take..Mind foods like ahrisa, canape, brandy and muon. It didnt take any longer really, its just you can just spam specials because you WILL get knocked down and bled. If a protector jumps in its over as it was for me while i was working on the 3rd elder. Do not leave your bikes out anymore either, they will certainly destroy them. Looted credit off the first elder and nothing on the second. I did loot 2 crystals off one spawn of rangers earlier though. I believe quality and premium crystal prices will be on the rise due to the fact not everyone can solo these any more.

keep in mind we have been spoiled...theu used to have force powers before....we werent intended to be the all powerful, solo anything PvE class that we are. Do0nt get me wrong, I took advantage of and enjoyed it while it lasted, but this is a much needed, healthy change for the game.
