Looks like they are finally giving NPC's back their weapons and special moves.
I'm waiting to see how this will affect the price of loot now that force sensitives can use their force powers again.

About damn time!
Ever since they stopped the NPC's using weapons and abilities, PvE has been way too easy. It sucks that I've been able to solo almost everyhting on the server as a swordsman, as it makes team-play meaningless.
Now we'll see nightsisters using 2-hand weapons, and specials, and force powers like they used to. Life will get exciting again, and it'll take planning, skill and friends to kill them!
As I recall, Nightsisters used power hammers, scythes, curved swords, and force powers.. expect to get hit for a lot more damage, with medium armor piercing weapons, and the same specials you can do. And watch out for groups of 3 or more nightsisters.. being force weakened by more than one at a time means even buffed stats will drop to tiny levels
This is the best change they've made in months!

Will NS be using stun batons?
I don't think so - nightsisters used to be primarily 2-hand users.
However, the Force-sensitive NPC's on dantooine (e.g. Archaists, Novice Force Wielders, Force Cystal Hunters etc) did sometimes

Oops, missed this thread somehow. I reposted this info in another thread, but yeah, this is all back on TC. Makes things a bit tougher but not amazingly so. The last time NPC's had specials and such they were also armor-holing like crazy -- which went a long way to making Axkva Min quite fierce. I used to get armor-holed for 5k+ on her bugged AE's.

Elders used to use stun batons from time to time.....wicked, I remeber seeing them wipe out groups of 10 players like they were weak little play things.

Just wait till Lord Nyax starts using Advanced Strafe again, I swear I saw him use that on someone one time for 6000 damage in my combat log.
Solo swordsman will probably have to start fighting the nightsisters one at a time again, instead of hopping off our speeders in a group of 5 and laying them all down in a matter of seconds. I miss seeing the force sensitives using lightning on me or my hunting buddies.

I think its great they are fixing the NPC's....but they also need to fix the stupid loot tables as well.....killing NS after NS and not getting jack...is crazy....now they fix them which is a good thing...but they need to fix the loot tables as well...

If an NPC uses a weapon, it needs to drop a weapon of that type (not necessarily the same stats as the weapon it used). It's only fair that professions other than pikeman get a chance to loot a neat weapon.
As for NS, I could drop a group of 5 (no elders or protectors) in 15 seconds before...I doubt they'll be able to kill me in 15 seconds even with their specials back heh.
