Is it just personal preference or does itmatter for what kind of thing your attacking?

Because i hear that Ubese has less encubrances but has less protection, and Composite has more encumbrances and more protection. I have several sets of Composite Armor and was just wondering if i should get some Ubese?

If you're just killing quenkers and other critters that usually only have kinetic based attacks, wear ubese. It's far cheaper and if it gets trashed, so be it. If you're faction farming or killing things that shoot back, killing nightsisters that like using stun batons, etc. wear composite. You'll need the extra defenses.

It's all a matter of what you're killing. I carry a suit of each with me at all times, then just switch depending on what I'm fighting.

I carry a suit of 85+ Composite, a suit of 90% Composite and a suit of 39Stun/85+ composite. It gets me through most situations pretty well.

If your killing Nightsister's deffinitely use Composite. You never know what weapon they might pull out.

Comp is the way to go.... That is helm, chest, boots and gloves only - if you only ware these parts you will be OK.

Thus comp is just as cheep and low ham as ubese, just much better all round.

Because the testing has shown that you will rarely get hit there. the 4 peice suit is very effective and also is about the same for encumberance as a full Ubese suit.

I never wear ubese anymore, composite is not that expensive, but I would also never go without arms and legs armour, regardless of testing, just not gonna take the chance.

With 400/400/400 400/400/400 1100/800/1100 I have to be buffed by 2.4K to fight,so I can wear the armour no matter what.

I have 80% kinetic and carry a change of helm to stun for when I do a run on the Geo cave.

Got owned 3 times tonight by those new improved NSissies. Elder did 3.5K damage to my mate, armour took 2.5K damage. Thats gonna hurt.

Boots, Helm, Gloves and Chest won't provide protection almost always, it will protect against ALL attacks. I haven't worn bracers or shoulder parts for months and never had an armor hole in my health. Made the mistake of putting a speed CA into boots instead of pants. This was before I learned of the minimum requirements.

The benefits of wearing Pants and Arm pieces is that your Gloves, Chest and Boots will decay slower. You can also put AAs in there for a long lasting piece of armor if you don't have space in the ubese shirt, belt and bando.
