As i understand it.. if you first drop a +14 or higher polearm acc in the piece and then drop this attachment in the same piece the speed should stick

Only needs +13 or better polearm accuracy on it to stick. I tested this extensively when I had a +7 steady aim +6 2h speed AA. Luckily, a guildie looted a +10 steady aim AA not a day after I acquired that one.

If the mod you want to cancel out is listed ABOVE the one you want, you only need a +1 or more to cancel it out.

If it's listed BELOW the one you want, you need another attachment with equal or greater value to the one you're cancelling out.

I'm 99% sure this is the way it works. There was a really good guide explaining it, but I can't seem to find it atm.

If that works, that is sweet, I got a 4 Melee Defence, 3 Two-handed melee speed attatchment at home. In that link when the auther said "Yes, I know that examine shows them alphabetically, but I decided to illustrate this rule with these examples as the rule is still correct." what exactly does that mean?

In-game the mods are always listedin alphabetical order. But in his examples he's just used the same mods and shuffled them round, to make it clearer which mods he wants to cancel out, and which he wants to keep. I don't know how else to put it...
