Maybe somebody can help me with this.. A Master Heavy swordsmand gets a 2hand hit 3. Is this the most powerful hit and does it damage health and action primarily?

If this is the case then Maybe I should do pistol instead of Rifle. I find it a little odd that this profession seems to focus on the mind, but the heaviest weap is to the body. Im I right here or am I missing something..

Yes, 2h hit 3 is primarily health/action. So is your sword when you are not using specials, so is 2h area attack, so is sweep, so is spin attack. In my view, killing things via mind pool is not always the best way to go, although it certainly has it's uses. From my experience, if you just use specials to attack the mind pool (because this is basically the only way you CAN target that), you will end up needing some way to heal your HAM in battle. If you don't have a way to heal your HAM, you'll never kill a reasonably tough foe with mind hits before you kill yourself. I suppose you could mind hit 2 and run away for a while, but I'm talking about straight up battle.

Personally, against single foes, I chain up 2h mind hit 3 interspersed with heals to keep me alive, but that's because I have master medic and some doctor skills. I'm quite happy with 2h hit 3 though, it helps me a lot because not every situation lends itself to attacking the mind pool.

One other point worthy of mention is that if you are ever in a group that doesn't consist of riflemen and heavy swordsmen, most likely you are going to be working on health/action, not mind.

I use a CDEF pistol =)

I don't have any ranged attack per se. I have the pistol for pulling, but that's it.

While I don't have Master Swordsman yet, I can say this: 2handHeadHit3 is VERY powerful. It can easily hit for over 4000 mind points. If the target is armed with a rifle or carbine, well ...let's just say its gonna be a bit worse than a migrane. I would imagine that 2handHit3 is in the same ballpark as far as damage goes, but hitting a random HAM pool. Which makes it less efficient for taking down high HAM opponents.

Next time you are out at the Tusken Fort, try hitting a few rifle wielding tuskens with 2HandHeadHit3, you will see that the DEVs didn't forget that we were a mind pool targeting class.

Well I dont know if you are correct on that. At least that is not my experience in Tusken Fort. I seem to damage them much more with with 2handhit 2 then I do with 2hand head hit 3. Plus I know I get less xp from using it after trying it over an hour and then switching. Maybe im doing something wrong. When using mind or for that matter 2hand hit, I like to bleed them first. Hehe I like the animation. Maybe throwing that in to the equatiion matters..

The other reason why in tusken fort especially to go the other way is that when you fight Warlords, Chiefs, or Captains, you need to use the offensive area hit to keep them from one shotting you. This damages the red and green from my experince and then I follow up with 2 hand hit 2. Rinse and repeat..
