Thread: Geonosian sword cores (yellow name)

I've looted four geonosian sword cores, I'd like to know if theyre any good, and if so, how good, four came off of one crazy, one had a yellow name, the rest did not, however they all have the same serial # and the same stats. the stats are: 28-42 damage, - 0.792 speed, wound 10, ideal range 32, HAM cost 7/6/6 respectively. also a reinforcement core schematic, I'm not quite sure what its used for, or what its worth, swordsman is still rather new to me so any help is apprecated... and oh yeah if this core sucks, can you give me a picture or tell me the stats of one that is good so i know what to throw away?

Crafted Geo Sword cores are generally better than looted ones, if you use the right components.
Reinforcement cores are for stuff like Hammers and 2hAxes (aswell as fencer weapons like Stun Baton).

The speed on that is pretty good (it's probably about .2s faster than anything anyone will craft). However right now speed just isn't that important on a scythe. I might save it for later. The HAM costs are ok, the damage is ok. Both could be outdone by using good cubes to make a schematic though.
One thing about the looted cores is that the ranged mods on them are a bit borked. When you use them you will get a really high ideal ranged mod but lower min and max range. It seems to put the whole bonus into ideal instead of spreading it out.

yeah i noticed that myself, my first scythe was made with looted sword cores and it came out +0 +17 +0 and the one with crafted cores just came out +0 +0 +0.
on another note, with the odd range mods on the first scythe does that even do me any good at all if standing at any range other than ideal (3M)?
