Thread: Defense, WHAT defense?
Well i have been master swordman for about 3 months now and would not change it. tho i do have a few problems with it and since they kinda the same problems as above i will post my problems.
the role of a two handed swordman is pure damage, using 2 hands will ofc limit our defences but greatly increase damage why else would we be using 2 hands. I personally rarly PVP because i dont think swordman is that good at it. If i do PVP it is against mates. Now i fully expect to lose to a ranged player if they keep running away from me, if however i get close i feel that i should beable to destory them very quickly.this how ever is not the case
i miss a far to much,only attack i can really use is mind hit 3 as its the only specail that does direct damage to one pool unlike all our others that canhit 1 of many and even when i do hit i seem to do bad damage due to their armor.
As stated above i feel that swordman should out damage most classes in the game, being melee i feel we should hit alot moreif we are close to are target. Seriously if i swing a hammer at someone they are not going to have much time or chance to get out to way. If i go up a ranged player and i get a hit on them, i execpt them to get badly hurt, instead i do little damage and they keep running.
Dont get me wrong i love swordman and will always stay (i think) the above problems do not affect me that much however i would like some more specails and maybe a defence or damage increase.

Do you know what "kited" means? I don't think a melee class is kiting another melee class. Also, TK is low on state defenses and nothing else, it has the highest toughness and 2nd highest melee/ 3rd highest ranged defense of any class in the game.

I believe the professions with the lowest defenses should have the highest damage output, that's just fair gameplay. BUT with melee mitigation in pvp, there goes our advantage! Our high end hits go away, and were left with average damage, slow and innacurate attacks. That's the only thing I'd like to see changed in pvp.
