Thread: From Master Bounty hunter to Swordsmen (and not holo grinding)

Hello I am Vayliss. I just reached MBH two days ago and I am so sick of the class that I gave it up. I plan on making (and am currently working on) Master doctor/ Master Swordsmen. Is there and advice I could get? Pointers on best critters to hunt and stuff like that. Thanks for your time.

I'd the "trash zone" for two-handed one through two. Then you get the curved sword (befriend it, for you will be using it for a long time). Either group up on high up planets, or just do mid-level creatures on lower planets to novice. Once you get novice do techniques first for speed. After that it's kind of up to you whether you do offense or defense first. You can start using a power hammer to some degree of effectiveness at this point, depending on how far in finesse you are. Either way, you get an area attack (very handy). Now you can either go romp around Endor for a while, or head to fort tusken to finish of the rest.

Cool thanks I got two handed 1-4 in a few hours. Nonthing like a good set of armor and Master doc buffs

In my sturboness, I kept MBH for 3 months and finally decided to try this great profession. I admit, it's alot more fun.

If the next publish doesn't put some excitement back into being a Master Bounty Hunter, I may be doing the same. I've been toying around with Swordsman on a different server and have enjoyed it immensely.

heh, i did the EXACT same thing man, was master bh/3/0/4/0 ranger, but i hated being a bh cause player bounties didnt exist so i went ranger swordsman, mastered both yesterday :-D, my suggestion is this, get a good cleaver, and also i hope you saved your combat xp, you can get sword finesse 1and 2, theyll be your best friend

My advice is do your tech tree first and do defense last. The attacks and mods do nothing in that tree (well nothing noticable with buffs and good armor). I'd say get Brawler for Warcy 2and Intimidate 2 but they are nerfing those. Lunge 2 is still pretty good however and is the only way to get a good knockdown with out doing another elite tree.
Dizzy can knockdown but out of the million times ive used it Ive only seen it kd another player 3 times. Also with the area bug do not use area attack around friendly NPCs you will get attacked.
Also once you are MHS youll only really ever use AREA 3, Mind 3, Head Hit 3 and Hit 3. The bleeds don't stack and spin/sweep suck imo.
For grinding I suggest Zucca Boars to start out with, then cupas both on Tat. Then go to Core and do slice hounds 1500 each and they go down pretty quick. Then head to Danthomir and do Baz Nitches and Giant Baz Nitchs. A lot of people will say go to Dant and do pikes. But pikes take longer to kill, dizzy and blind, give less xp and pay less per mission.
Also be sure to group with a droid or pet and just park them somewhere safe you get more xp that way.
