I am a Wookie, just about to open up the swordsman profession. I am also working on scouting. Today I came to town and asked if anyone had Survival 2. A marksman offered to teach it to me. While the teach box was opened he asked if I wanted Ranged support 4. I said no. I have a bowcaster, but I don't see any need for me to get supression fire as a swordsman.

Then the good samaritan in me reared his ugly head. I said "If you need the apprentice points, I can take the lesson and then just give it back later." So I got ranged support 4. Then I went to check where all my skills stood before I logged off. I am 20,000 short of novice swordsman. I went to check Sword finesse 1. I knew that had been coming along too. WHAT!!! ONLY 7000 points?? Then I realized that I had just given away 22,000 combat exp, to be a nice guy. Boy, did I ever learn my lesson :>
