I just had an idea for a combat macro, but I don't know if it will work, and I don't know if it has been done before.

Here is the story:

The way I fight is to put on my high encumbarance armor, pull a mob with my rifle, and hit attack and watch the mob die. I never use any specials because of the high cost. The armor prevents alot more damage than the specials use, so it seems to me that if I never use any specials, I lose less health even though it takes longer for the mob to go down.

So what if I made a combat macro that did:

1. Take off armor

2. Switch to a low encumbrance weapon

3. Do a special

4. Switch back to old weapon

5. Put armor back on

Has anyone experimented with this? Will it work or will the delay in the combat round mean that the armor will be put back on before the special is used in combat? I will try it tommorow and report my results if no one has done anything like this.

I have a better one,

  1. get buffs & brandy

  2. spam all the specials you want

  3. keep your armor on

You will get hit while unequipping the armor, and it will do you more dmg. then spamming the special.

I used to do something similiar when I was a BH.

I had 3 toolbars dedicated to each main weapon, carbine, pistol, LLC.

in my 4th toolbar i putlow HAM cost weapons carbine / pistol.

In my main toolbars i had macros that would;

1) switch to low HAM weapon, apply state changing special, blind, dizzy, kd etc,

2) switch back to main weapon and continue firing.

This servered the same purpose u are shooting for.

Fully armored my KD carbine shot would cost -220 action.

Switching to the lower HAm weapon cost -50 or -60.

No, the special didnt do as much damage, but the low ham weapon applied the states with the same frequency that the high HAM weapons did. and the states are what I wanted.

I went to MBH with this technique, without ever getting buffed, i just used alot of muon and brandy.

I dont know if it applicable to swordman, but good luck.
