EDIT: took out the reference, "gotta change my sig, will do that after I post this...." because I changed my sig already.

they are all over 4k exp and you ahve a chance at some good loot. you should be able to handle them all, if your protected well, even elders, but they'll take a looong time to kill.
the offense tree is 100% useless imo
I'm with Playerxxx. The Geo Labs and your a Master when you leave. Decent loot too.

Savage Quenkers are another good target to grind on.

you will have to adjust the time to fit your skills
someone suggested pikets along time ago so I tried it recently and they were right. Just find a piket protector lair or get a mission and just start hitting the lair with spin2, you will net over 4k xp for each kill and maybe over 5k for the lair. They spawn like crazy and die fast. Throw in some huurton stalkers and grauls and you have a good time. Actually last night I netted 110k combat xp and capped at 900k 2handed xp (started with 136k). All I did was head west from the Imp outpost on Dant and hit every graul, piket protector, and huurton stalker lair on my way to the Mokk stronghold. Killed all the mokks (rockshapers 100% resist to blast and kinetic, but only saw two) and headed back doing the same thing. Killed a couple of FS's and ended up on a fierce piket protector lair with 10 minutes left on my buffs, 26k 2hand xp and 12k combat xp short of master. Nice thing was even after my buffs dropped I still took down the three protectors left. I did this all in a little over an hour, hit the muon twice when I had 8 mokks on me and buffs and thats it.
But for fun, rancors are great, I still laugh everytime I see the "An enraged rancor is intimidated by you" in the combat chat. The only problem with the big MOBs is that they take too long to kill, so the time:xp ration is lessened. But they are more fun than pikets, mokks, or huurtons and you get good loot sometimes. Although I got a wood staff last night from a mokk with Dodge:4, Terrain negotiation:3, and polearm accuracy: 2 I think. Was in the process of deleting all the stone knives and reinforced combat staffs when I found it. Don't know if it is worth anything though.
Sorry for the long post, but that was my exciting tale of mastering swordsman last night starting at 2/4/4/3.
