Thread: Where are our bleeds/states?

Sorry if this is obvious to some, but I am still trying to figure out exactly what our specials do (other than area attacks / damage)
I am 1 box from master, and pretty much rely on head hit 3 and hit 2 and the basic area attack (and having alot of fun kicking @$% by the way).
I know spin2 does the posture change (i think its spin) and its actually pretty reliable against npc's from what i have seen (helpful in killing them before they start to run away), but what about other states and bleeds?
I have seen some posts that mention bleeds, which of our attacks cause bleeds, and to what pools.

mind hit 1 and 2 are the bleeds, they recently got nerfed and aren't much use anymore

i wasnt a swordsman when the bleeds wernt nerfed but from what i have found the bleeds arnt that bad you just have to stack them up.... i was bleeding a ns spell weaver for 2000 earlier on.

that can't be, you can't stack bleeds, that was part of the nerf

OK, cool, thanks folks.
So Mind 1 and 2 bleed, I assume, the mind.
Should come in handy against the big stuff, I will test it out.
What about states?
Do we have dizzy to go along with ourposture change attack? Ora blind or stun (personnaly I cant see how it is possible to get hit in the head with a giant hammer and not be at least a little bit stunned, but thats off topic)

No its true... the devs cant even write a nerf right... The bleeds DO stack. As a riffleman/swordsman i can stack 4 bleeds on a beastie. Yes its tested, confirmed, and all that IVe even got a macro that does all 4 bleeds in 4 seconds.

2H Melee Area 3 is incorrectly labled in the skills window. It has a chance to Posture Change Down as well as Dizzy.
Also, bleeds from HS/Rifle stack for me as well.

Both Area 3 and Hit 3 have a small chance to Dizzy. No blind. No stun.

You can apply different bleeds, and they will stack. However, as a Pistoleer, I can only apply one health bleed with my pistol, I can then apply the action bleed from Marksman. I'm assuming that as a BH, I can stack Bleeding Shot (health) with Health Shot2 from Pistoleer, as they come from 2 diffferent professions.

I've done extensive testing with this and I can stack four mind bleeds on a target. MindHit 1 & 2 and MindtShot 1&2 stack. I use this on elders to speed up the pace of the kill. I also tested it on my commando this AM and was able to stack all four burn DOTs on a single target. Somebody goofed somewhere.
