will be tough with that armor tho imo.
We went down with -
CM/Rifleman (no armour), 2 x Rifleman/Swardsman (both in 80% Composite which got trashed
) and a TKM (in wookie armour no idea as to the stats)
we did fine, didn't bother with the ackleyas there was already another group camping it.
I have 58% Kin wook armor (chestplate...leggings and bracers are 50%), a decent hammer, a decent scythe, double shot of brandy, canape, and 2.5k buffs (master sword/master doc) and I soloed the acklay
.. You'll do fine there so long as you pay attention to your HAM. Also, with the crazed geos, don't let them use ranged weapons. As soon as they spawn in run up on them and they will go melee. OH YEAH....check the stats on your armor from time to time and carry a few repair tools. I repaired my chestplate 4 times while making my way to the acklay.
Happy hunting,
Serres
Radiant
But thanks for all the replies!
swordsman own in the caves not done the aclay yet but in amongst the crazed u can rule with spin 2 and a decent weapon ( i use curved sword with good dam slice and a speed power up)
o yeh im a wookie as well 58% armour but it does break after 2 hrs in there but 600/700k xp per session and some decent loot makes it all worth while ![]()

The Geo labs were made for swordsman. The only thing to watch out for is Enhanced Kwi's. You can take on one alone anymore and you need help.
Actually, this isn't true. Not long ago I had 4 on me, and some guys came running down with two more on their tail. The guys helped take out one before they both died, which only left me with 5 - and I survived...barely.
Mind was a bit dicey, even with buffs/brandy/canapes and in fact I would have lost the fight due to mind, but I had a secret weapon...
The wenches at the Singing Mountain Clan give out these stims as quest rewards, and like looted stims they also heal mind. Very handy and without them I would not have been able to win, but even so I only used two of those stims.
Still, I have taken out 2 or 3 with no problem. One key is to stop doing specials when mind starts to drain. Just keep intimidate/center looping and stand there and take it whille mind recharges.
EDIT: Oh, and yes I've soloed the cave more than once - Master Swordsman/Master Doctor. Never even seen the Acklay yet though so I dunno about that guy. My only problem is that I always end up deep down into it when I notice I've got about 3 minutes left on my buffs...so far I've made it out every time on burst.

The Acklay is not too difficult. I am a master Doc/swordsman. I often hunt with a Wookiee Master swordsman. The only time he died was when he got hit by those fireball things and i was not paying atention to his HAM The two of us can take down the Acklay pretty fast. We use Scythe's and Spam mind hits. I take 2 barndy's then when the Acklay pops i take a mulon. Always works well
We will have one on the acklay using the scythe and one with a hammer spin attacking everyting else, unless we have TKM with us in which case she takes the straglers and we hammer the Acklay. Tons of fun!
I only got truly comfy in the Geo Lab once I bought comp armor. Ubese worked fine, except 2 things would usually wreck me, Droideka and Crazed whipping out pistols. Make sure to close to melee range as fast as possible on anything, and you can do fine. As a Wook, consider buying some good energy PSGs for facing the Droideka. Nothing in the Lab that I have faced so far has presented any problems for my Power Hammer. I have not faced the Acklay, but I did solo the Fire Spider when I had only my Ubese. I recommend getting comfy in the lab your first few trips, don't even bother going past the Mercenary room (the one that requires you to earn the passkey) until you are comfy with the place, or you have a good group around you and know the Acklay is there.
