Thread: Killed an Elder, got uber loot!

Well, I just finished killing my second elder today, and, after spending 25 mins destroying her, I finally get to loot her and see the payout of my hard work...
473 credits. nothing else.
The loot drops have to be fixed...especially since I then killed a spell weaver that was with her and got 1117 credits. That's ridiculous. I'm not killing anything high-end until good stuff starts dropping for other people lol.

very true. ive found spell weavers/protectors r dropping better loot than elders now!!! there is definitly something wrong there.

a few of my guild jedis and i went to kill some elders. they looted one premium crystal before i got there. when i did get there, i looted the elder and got 3 heavy duty leather 
so much for loot. did get a 288 health poison LVA with 9k uses and 206s duration from one of the lesser nightsisters

My question is if you knew exactly where the "awesome loot" is wouldnt you think everybody in the game would be out there camping that spawn and then everbody would be running around with it.

I for one am not talking about some uber loot! She doesnt have to drop a +5 ca 2h speed every time I put her to permanent sleep. But 1000 to 10000 credits is so redicolous, as it screems of poor judement from SOE's part. Have her drop from 50000 to a 100000! Now that would at least be something for an "uber" npc.
And btw. Why is it that I cant loot their weapons or clothes when they are dead ? Does that sweet scythe or batton or hammer or nasty stick she carries just disapear when she is dead ?

Right now you best bet is to go hunt Blacksun, 10k to 35k HAM, Light to Medium armor, spawns in groups, De-10 barrels can be sold for 2 Million, then you can buy that loot you didnt get

Look, the reason people seem to get more from protectors or spellweavers is because they are easier to kill and are killed more often. Elders are not "that hard". If they dropped uber loot everytime what would be the fun....I like the way it is now, loot hunting is not suppose to yield something everytiume you go out. Its suppose to be a lucky occurance and killing higher level spawns seems to increase your chances. Anyways thats my 2 cents.
