Ok this is a template I came up with.. i dont know if anyone has posted this before and I really dont feel like reading ALL the posts.. lol.. Anyways what I came up with was

Master Swordsman/Master TK/Master Brawler/Fencer /4/4/3/0

That leaves you with like1 skill point left.

Gives you excellent stats towards Defense vs. knockdown a +95

Counter attack +110 Melee Defense +156 and Range Defense +134. with a +75 to dodge

Excellent for this damn nightsisters who love dizzy knockdown and krayt dragons. Now I just need to find a template so I can take out a Super Battle Droid. lol.. I can only dream.

Any I really dont know the caps on melee defense and range. I am going off the profession calculator I downloaded.

Yes that does sound like a very well balanced template... but you see I never fight alone.. make sure I have a Combat Medic around for those ever so emergencys.... or if I have to make sure I have warcry ready to run away REALLY fast... lol..

i realize im not a swordsman with my current template but i was a swordsman , i love swordsman and plan on goin back to swordsman but my planned temp for swordsman is M-Swords, M-Fencer, 1043Pistoleer, Novice Med (0 SP left over) u have capped dodge, capped melee defense, almost capped ranged defense, melee mitigation 3 and ranged mitigation2 plus a slew of other great defenses, and u get the best of both worlds, Fencer for PvP and Swordsman for PvE

ENOUGHT WITH THESE TEMPLATE POSTS!!!!!!!!! find a website that tallies sp and after u figure out a template gives u a readout of ur mods. SHEESHHHHHH!!!!!

Yea Doctare, i'm sure you've never used the forums for advice....

I'm working on that exact template right now, and so far it's working great. I always hunt with a master doctor, and sometimes a Master Carbineer. The three of us together can mow down NS pretty fast.

Doctare, I understand your frustration - there are a lot of threads about different templates on our forum, but to be honest I'd rather see a million of them than see one post like your last one.. Negative, unhelpful comments like that do nothing for anyone. The forums are here so people of the same profession/server/interests can bounce ideas off oneanother and hopefully improve their gaming experience - That's all these people with Template idea threads are trying to do. Constructive criticism is fair enough, pointing them toward a site that offers such a service as you mention - like the one that's URL'd in Gorecki's Sticky at the top - But to just say "DO IT YOURSELF!!" kinda defeats the whole idea of community that these forums try to build up. I hope you understand where I'm coming from with this post and don't see it as a personal attack - I don't mean it as such, it just upsets me to see this kind of behavior.

Personally my favorite template is Master Swordsman, Master Brawler, Master Fencer,TK 4 0 0 3, novice medic. Lets me solo anything and dominates pvp with the right gear
