So it looks like the Master Swordsman template would give you +25 General melee Speed and +75 Swordsman Speed. Does this mean in the new CU you will be capped at master? No need for CAs or AAs? Whoa!! heavy hitter and Speed capped. big change isnt it?

Supposedly, no profession will be hitting once per second.

you must remember we have a energy bar now, once its gone you have to wait for it to regen. So if you do hit once every second you'll run out of energy fast, very fast.

yeah does anyone else think that your action and mind pools should increase along with your health when you level up? i mean i was testing as a marksman and at 4/4/4/4 i was finding my action drained halfway through a fight even when in a group of 5 other players against lvl 15-17 mobs. since our auto attack is actually just one of our specials that we put on repeat there is no way to stop doing specials and do regular no cost attacks like we can on live now and stay in combat with the mob.. wouldnt be any different than jedi getting more force for almost each box so they can stay in combat longer. i mean if you look at it this way everything you do in combat now will depend on your action bar.. fighting you can only do specials.. if your a medic also heals cost action points (sure you can use instant stims but they have a 1 minute cooldown timer). would only make sense to have our action and mind increase with our health.. or at the least give back the no cost default attack.

There are moves that have no cost, like melee hit, I suggest you use that as your auto

weird.. because on tc my action was draining with just using melee hit, and ranged hit. could be because weapons have pool costs too.. i don't know exactly how they set up the combat action pool cost system so i can't really suggest something to fix it other than instead of specials costing action, and weapons costing action.. why not change the special action cost to a modifier that will modify the weapon action cost by a large percent with the more powerfull attacks, and set it to to a negitive cost to offset the weapon cost for the basic noviceattack specials.

The move themselves say they do not drain, so might want to report that they are

the movesmay notdrain.. the weapons still drain tho. not so bad with noob weapons.. but when you get into the weapons that have a 100-110 action drain per hit it could be a problem. like i said.. when doing a basic attack you should be getting zero action drain. otherwise you might as well can the basic attacks and do nothing but wait for your action to regenerate and re-spam the high level attacks.

Very Very true. If this stays the way it is we will have probablems with our action draining incredibly fast. The only thing I can think of if this does not change is to go TKM and fight totally with your fists (you drain no action at all with any move with fists only, which I'm assuming is because there is no action cost to the 'weapon'). Though by the time this goes live fists not draining action might change. Would be interesting to try testing and see how much damage output a TKM with fists dishes out and if it is even viable.
