I'm a master Swordsman, what's my combat XP cap?
How do I figure it out?
If I max out on combat XP and then drop master swordsman to pursue another combat profession, lets say TKM, will I lose combat XP if I get in a fight after I drop some Swordsman skills, but before I reach Novice TKM and thus had a chance to spend some of that combat XP on TK skills?
Is there a formula for figuring out what your combat XP cap is based on the skills one has? How can I figure out my combat XP Cap?

the formula is easy... your capped xp is twice as high as the highest skill your eligible for. Say your 1/1/1/1 swordsman, and u wanna be 2/1/1/1. I beleive 2/x/x/x/ costs 250k swordsman xp, so you can get a maximum of 500k xp before your capped, once you learn 2/x/x/x, you can have a cap of 700k because 3/x/x/x is 350k swordsman xp.
This works the same for anything... except jedi xp. So if your x/x/x/3 swordsman, your combat xp cap is 300k because x/x/x/4 requires 150k combat xp, however, once your x/x/x/4 swordsman your combat xp cap will remain the same because there is no additional combat xp tree to move up.

What about if you drop combat skills and you are above the combat XP cap... is there a risk of having combat XP taken away from you if you kill something after you have dropped some of those combat skills?

I'd drop the Offense line first anyway ... you can spare it. Finesse is good for a while to keep your weapon more useful.

If you're in a fight without the combat xp cap, yes, you'll loose a lot of it.. I suggest keeping the combat xp line (xxx4)until you pick up nov TK, so you don't lose any.
