Greetings Swordsmen(women)

I thought of an interesting template that may make swordsman the best class to have, for both PvP and PvE.

Here goes...

Master Swordsman - 63 pts

Master Brawler - 77 pts.

TKA 4/3/0/4 - 46 pts.

Fencer 4/1/4/0 - 39 pts

Medic 2/2/0/0 - 23 pts.

=250 SP

Here's the advantages (well, most of them): Dodge +75, Melee Defense +149 (WHEEE), Ranged Defense +119 (better than all ranged elite classes), Counterattack +110, Defense Acuity +71, Combat Equilibrium +50, Def KD +65.... and then fairly high bonuses to the other defense mods.

With defensive acuity, counterattack, AND dodge, and CoB, it would be well.... amazing! And with the really high defenses, we would be even harder to hit. Put on some decent Ubese armor, and it seems like a good template, in my opinion.

Tell me what you think....

Dodge only works if you're holding a sword or pistol, and counterattack only if you're holding a weapon from the 2HS line.

Well, that debunks my template.... ho hum back to the drawing board ^_^ perhaps carbineer is useful after all....

Ive also found burying people up to their necks in white sand, then pouring molten lead into their mouths with a feeding tube works.But that's just me...or you, rather, Lord Rahl. lol

OMG i love that book "the wizards first rule" he did a good job on that seires except after the third book they got kinda bad. but the first three were really great books

Me and a friend are testing this and it seems if u are holding any of your 2h weapons dodge works cant really tell if it works until u use the COB and look at combat log we couldnt hit each other longest battle ive ever seen all u read was counterattack and dodge

I was toying with the idea of:

Master Swordsman

Master Brawler

Fencer 4-0-4-0

Pistoleer 3-0-4-0

Novice Medic

It's a whole mess of Dodge, Melee Defense & Status Defense...

WHole lot of def vs dizzy and knockdown.

SHould be interesting to see how well it works

Master Brawler Master Swordsman and all 4 of the defense boxes in the other three melee trees. You would get 171 melee defense and enough counterattack to take out a Krayt. Plus you couldn't be knocked down. With a BE attachment you could have close to 200 melee defense. Plus a ton of ranged defense. Combine that with a powe rhammer, the new mitigation thing, the new ham costs, and Center of Being and i'm guessing one could solo anything. However this is all speculation.

I am an old and decrepit man (at the ripe age of 28), so could someone clear up one of the mysteries of life to me...

Just what exactly is "PWN"? I see it being shouted high and low in-game and on the message boards (pwned, pwning, etc.). Maybe someone of the younger, hipper persuasion can enlighten me.
