well just a swordsman has very few skills.

i used 2hand lunge1 - mind bleed - head hit

that's about all you can do.

if you get master brawler you get a KD with lunge2 so thats a lot more fun.

plus warcry helps a lot.

if you only lunge then bleed then hit.. you wont duel very well.

As soon as the fight starts, hit them with warcry1 (novice brawler: 10 second delay), lunge, follow that up with the bleeds, then intimidate1 (novicebrawler as well: halves opponents dmg output)him before the 10 second delay wears off. This combo will set you up well so that if they run, they are bleeding, and when they attack you they hit you for half as much.

Another alternative is warcry or intimidate to start the fight (if you dont need to use warcry then dont in duels.. people find it cheap) then just hack em till they die. I am 0433, and i do 400-700 per hit, which ends it in a few hits.

Another alternative is to go up the one-handed part of the brawler tree (3rd skill box). This doesnt take many skillpoints at all and it will give you a dizzy. This will let you start of the duel with the vibroblade (fastest weapon) and get them on their backs. Warcry first, dizzy, lunge- switch to sword - hit with the PH (this is where i do the 700 dmg hits)

CoB is a good way to up your dodging if the opponent is going to be hitting you much (i dont get hit much in most fights). Berserk is a good way to up dmg output with lower ham costs then headhit3 if opponent has really high mind, or wears just a helmet because you are swordsman.

If you are being kited, use burst run if you cant keep up, /follow also helps ( i heard something about /stick)

as a master brawler/swordsmen 0443 this is how i duel

i start with a 2hlunge2 to kd them and as they are down i quickly follow wit ha warcry....some may find it better to warcry first....also while down i intimidate2 then lay on a nice mind bleed via the combo...mindhit1 mindhit1 mindhit2....ive seen people tick upwards of 800....then its just a matter of time b4 u hit their mind pool with either a headhit or a lunge which extends your range for those that like to kite.

also...use center of being asap...and dont use it back to back or unless you need it bc it takes away at yor HAM...also...careful of the non landing warcries and intimidates...these also cost ham.

I like to use my curved sword for just about everything except the bleeds (the PH is mint for bleeds). My curved sword has a speed of 1.6 after slice and powerups so I can hit the warcry and intimidate faster and lay head hits faster too. It is faster and more accurate than the PH and when it comes down to finishing off that last little bit of an opponents mind bar, I don't like to miss and give them another shot because my weapon is slow.

Hello fellow swordsman I have a question on best strings of combos to use while dueling and pvp. I'm 0/3/1/2 right now and as far as combos what would be the best to do, also what are the best combos in general when you master swordsman. And What skill boxes should I finish first to give myself better chances of survival. Getting knocked down and beaten by TKA's and Fencers for is pissing me off. I thank you for your time oh sword great sword masters.

Depends on the fight. One target with like 6k ham? Easy. Yoink out the hammer and /lunge2 /headhit3 and maybe a /headhit2 to finish the job.

A larger target I generally use the curved on and use the warcry2, bleed1-2, and do some headhit 2 and 3's till it gets up, then try to land an intim2.

Multiple targets with like 9 or 10k HAM's... Hit the first one fast and hard with PH for a lunge2 bleed1-2. Do the same for all but one target then switch to the curved and and kd-bleed him too, but continue to hit him till one of the others get low. Use intim if it sticks and some heals. I manage to waste 3 grizzled dews like that.

Forgot about PVP. Use the Hammer no doubt. For a fun time use the lunge2-bleed combo. Then watch them run around bleeding out. Or for the more a quicker way, lunge2/headhit is a fun. Always nice to crush someones skull with a large mallet. And be sure to make Daffy Duck noises as you run off.
