Hey folks, was wondering if you could share a few of your favorite hunting spots for a up and coming swordsman. I good comp, buffs, and medic, so can handle some tough stuff. I'm doing baz's on dath at the moment, but would love a change. Thanks!

Grouping with something, anything, and go to Dant. kill anything besides bols (nasty resists to kinetic and blast) just make sure you bleed and use CoB. Huurtons are the easiest to kill, even the supposedly tough ones, and give very nice xp when in a small group or by yourself.

You'll get xp very fast so i suggest you take a advanced swordsman along with you to teach you along the way

have fun

with muon, good kinetic ubese or great composite, and buffs you can easily take out enraged rancors on dathomir, they only have 30% resist to blast, and using you hammer with mind hit 2, and head hit 3 you can take one out every 45 seconds or so....for 5k xp per kill

plus they drop bile, padded armor segments, scales( or something), teeth, and items such as armor and weapons.

if youre a doc yourself, you can whup up on enraged bull rancors too. basically the same thing with about 5k more HAM.

if you want mega xp go rancor hunting, it's a blast

tell me again how a swordsman who's trying to level is going to use head hit 3 to take out rancors for good XP? eh? eh?

ok i soloed some rancors with buffs and 50% ubese

anyone who fights with armor should know that specials are gonna mess you up if you cant kill them fast and or if you miss with the special since the weapon takes from your mind pool when your other 2 are invincible from regen buffs and your armor(well unless you were lucky enough to get you helmet's encumberance sliced by 50% or so)

but this is what i have learned and I think it is a good tip since it helps me

get intimidate to stick then go berzerk

they take more dmg and you do more dmg ..... I am disillusioned by rancors now, I thought of them as big bad ass mofos, but now they remind me of the lowly vesp (with slightly better stats and hit a little harder even if it doesnt make a diff cus of buffs )

on talus, if you have a couple faction pets or can get someone to group with you while you get missions get the tortur pack missions, as a novice HS i was getting 3k or so exp for each one, and they arent tough to tank even though they will show red to you, if you draw more than one break out the spin attack and just keep clicking
