Thread: Doubel Sided Ax Question ( take 2 )
The other night I was passing through Lok when I saw someone with a double sided ax at the shuttleport. I didn't get a chance to ask any questions seeing how the shuttle just arrived and I was heading out. Can you shed some light on the subject please?
How good is this weapon?
Who on Intrepid makes this weapon?
The axe you saw was just a basic weapon that swordsman become certified for in the first two handed box of brawler. Its one heck of a good weapon in comparison to all of the other starting profession's first box toys. But in comparison to the curved sword and the power hammer it falls short in potency. It is better than the vibro axe though.
It looks really cool. To bad it's only a beginner weapon.
I guess I'm just excited about getting new weapons.

The one thing you overlooked is the accuracy of the double-sided axe. +25 at all 3 ranges. For me this is the weapon I use against any opponents who have high ranged defense. It's also the one I use for a KD or posture change.
