Thread: How much can a Master Bleed for PVP or PVE
in pve i have stacked bleed to about 3k dam every 30 or so seconds
and in pvp i have stacked it to about 233 dam every 30-50 seconds
its hard to calculate as i just spam mind hit....and in pvp it gets a little bit intense with all the chasing we have to do![]()
This is using my damage sliced max 602 hammer as master heavy sword.
PvP.. -75% or so I'd guess, don't pvp much yet.
Of all the melee classes I think swordsman and fencer benefit the most from master brawler. With my speed sliced max dmg 469 PH i land 3300+ bleeds with mind hit 2 quit eoften. 1000-1500 with mind hit 1.
Just warcry2, lunge2, and while they're laying there on their back for 20 seconds pop on the bleeds and move to the next target.
In pve if I want a good bleed going, I'll reapply them until I get about 3k on bleed 2, and 2k on bleed 1. I find this amount of bleeding isvery useful, and nothard toobtain. More can be had, but it gets time consuming to apply them over and over.
well with my 726 damage ph the highest bleed i have gotton off with it in pve was ablut 6.3 the norm for it is like 3-4k of that one bleed mind hit 2 that is.
with mind hit 1 my norm damage is about 1-3k
in pvp with mind hit 2 vs an armored non melee range person i got a bleed of 1.2k i do not rember if he was prone or what but i know he was dead lol.
Be careful about worrying too much about the size of the bleed. Let us say I swing the PH for Mindhit1 and get an 800 bleed. I may think to myself, "That is kind of low. I will reapply it. So I swing with MindHit1 again, and get a 1200 bleed. Satisfied with that, I move on to the remainder of my attacks (stack another bleed with Mindhit2, if I have it, and begin pounding away with Headhits).
Given that scenario and assuming the fight will atleastlast two minutes, Mindhit1 should have ticked off 6 bleeds. That would be a total damage from the bleedof 7200. Not bad, since had I left the bleed at 800, it would bea total bleed of 4800, a difference of 2400 damage. However, if instead of reapplyig the bleed, let us say I hit it with Headhit 2 for 3000 damage. The total bleed of 4800 plus the 3000 Headhit3 would total 7800 damage, 600 more than if I reapplied the bleed. And that is assuming the fight lasts for 2 minutes, and the bleed gets to run its full course. The shorter the fight, the less important the size of the bleed.
So you can see, that it may not be profitable to try to reapply the bleed in every circumstance. It may be best to just take whatever bleed rolls you get and move on.
im a 0-2-1-1 and normally hit my mind hit 1 for 800-1250, but i have gotten as high as 2200 before
