Can a pikeman make quick work of a swordsman or is it the other way around?

Never fought a pikeman, I've made short work of a fair few Teras Kasi's though

The other way around. Pikeman are basically really really crappy. Fought 2 and they couldn't do anything which canbe called damage. Swordsman is the way to go! In PVP you can easily do more than 900 in damage on MIND in a single hit. My friend never saw it coming.

If the Pikeman gets lucky and lands a hit first, you're toast. They can do a heck of a lot of damage, and if they land a hit and lose, you'll probably end up with insane wounds anyway.

But Pikeman have really bad accuracy at the moment, even compared to Swordsman's Powerhammer. So Swordsmen will usually win...

Er... what pikeman (master) have you seen dealing such damage? I fought them when unarmored and they could hardly hurt me then even... Maybe bad weapons but I'm not sure...
