Thread: (Returning Player) How do I make credits now?

I am a returning player, left for CoH, WoW, and EQ2 but none of them held my attention like SWG. It also seems now that the devs may actually be pulling their heads out of their butts and making this a decent game. When I left SWG, I gave most of my credits away to friends who eventually left the game as well. I hear that they killed "solo" groups, so how do I make credits now? I am a Master Swordman/Master Doctor, but I REFUSE to just sit around and buff people all day to make money.

If your an imp, get to Col. and buy an AT-St so you can still do missions like you were in a solo group, keep doing missions for 10kish a pop instead of 30, loose doc (Like i had to do TKM/4/4/4/xdoc) and take up artisan and try to squirm your way into the good graces of a hardcore harvesting person who will give you tips on good drops or rent out your lots to that person, or put points into harvesting skill and keep an eye open for good herb meat and the likes.
I dropped doc completey and kept on line in medic, and now I am going tkm/swordsman with 1/x/4/x in scout so i can harvest. I've stumble upon one amazing harvest and i'm up over a mill now because of it.

how many credits are you looking to make? If it's enough to get you by, then just find a pal with an ATST and get high lvl missions. If you want huge cash to buy all the great loot, an awesome PH, and the best buff packs in the game, just start killing stuff and dont stop until you loot something great. I camp factional NPCs, I've made over 11 mil in a buff session doing it. Good CAs, AA,s and ~500 credits per NPC. Plus I get faction points for it, which I can use to buy, say, ST armor and then sell THAT on the forums for a couple mil.

i am mdoc/mswords wth a nice 502 min hammer, speed capped, i just group with my at and do 30k missions just like before on dant. i did notice that the 40k missions on rancors on dath are now 18k. another dev brainfart, everytime i complain about sw i have to give the game informer mag quote on swg, here it is because if i state it enough, maybe someone will pull there head out of there..., "swg continually angers players with dramatic game changes and continued unbalancing issues" for those devs who dont understand magazine talk, it means the game sucks. everything is out of whack. or broken 80 pct of the time. why add if you cant maintain what you already broke? ridiculooooooooooooooooooooooooose, break on devs break on.
