Thread: Swordsman/Fencer combo, suggestions?

I am doing a Swordsman/Fencer combo on my trandoshan. I wanted to explain my idea and then ask for any advice.


Fisrtly i wanted to take Swordsman cuz i love the Dmg potential of the class. I saw how it seemed to be a little weaker in defense than fencer and on some of the specific resists, ie posture change. Also i figured i could use the Swordsman class and a heavy DMG class and the fencer for quicker faster DMG. Also with Swordsman i get counter attack.


That was the reason i wanted to take Fencer was moslty for the Defense stacking bonus and the alternate DMG type , Stun. I figure with the melee def, resists, and dodge i should have a very strong defense that works with either class, since they are generic skills and dont say that it only works with that class alone. The Stun dmg will also be a life saver when hunting for things that may have a high kenetic resit and lets me be much more flexable in my hunting style, and in PvP.


I plan on taking both of these classes to Master as well as the TKA meditaion line and novice medic. Please tell me what you think of this template for PvE and PvP. I love good input

Sounds like a good plan but arent you going to be left in the dust without exploration from scout?

you can do well in pvp with the kd/dizzy with the fencer skillz then 1 or 2 hs3 and they r done

Good choice man. I almost master swordsmen and i love the combos i can do. First thing remeber is that you have both weapons if one isnt working go for the other. possible combos moves are


1. Mind hit 2 switch to stun baton and scatter hit 2. Great againist range as they tend to run away from us. Bleeding turns that againist them. Switching to fencer allows better defences and cob will make near impossible to hit thus prolonging the time the bleeds last. Scatter hit whether by design or flaw happens to bypass secondary defense mods like dodge. Its got a much better chance to hit mind thenyour head hits with swordsmen and is much more likely to take that last little mind that the bleed didnt get. warcry knockdown etc work great with it too.


2one hand dizzy 2+ sweep 2. Aoe dizzy aoe posture down need i say more.


3 lunge 2 +dizzy hit2+ power hammer andhead hit 3. Hey if they dont have secondary defense mods ( commandoes bounty hunters ) go gallagher on their heads.Sure big mess but its so satifying.


Personally I love this comboit allows for somevariety andsurprises the heck out of people when you suddenly mind bleed thenchange to complete defense.
