Just curious to see if they stacked or not and any impressions anyone who's gone that route had.

yes
The only people in pvp that will ever give you trouble are people w/ vicious DOT attacks because even if you counterattack you still take the DOT
If I see a commando--I run like hell
If I see a rifleman--I run like hell
everyone else just fires blanks at me. I let a TK swing at me for about 5mins till I got bored yesterday. If you know your enemy it's insanely powerful. I only wish I could wear armor..../sigh ![]()
Be aware though--that this template will most likely be nerfed in the combat rebalance. However I'm sure you still have at least another month to play w/ it.

oooh and once they /intimidate you -- bye bye counterattack
that's probably the biggest reason I don't think this needs a nerfing.

Yeah I just read another thread stating that the counterattack mods will no longer stack. Bummer. With how little I play I'd probably have about 2 days left after grinding through the rest of Swordsman and through the tactics line of Carbineer before the patch hit the live server. Oh well, upwardand onward with my original plan.
Also, with the type of pvp I engage in (group) avoiding combat medics and riflemen isn't really an option. When 20 people show up at your town's faction HQ its take down what you can, because its only a matter of seconds before you'll be incapped bythe other 10 people.

rifleman/swordsman is an offensive template instead of defensive

If you over look the bleed stacking and focus on the mind damage ability then its not. It really comes down to the way you play. For me the type of PvP I engage in most often is group where 20v20 is the norm. I can rely on others in my PA for ranged support while I keep the opposing meleer's at bay and put the rest of my points into Ranger for the burst run efficiency.
