Thread: What Speed Do We Need to Reach the Speed Cap at Master HS?

Thanks. Here's the answer:
For one of our most common attacks that we use, Headhit3 (2.5 secs), the weapon would need:
1.6 speed at +75 mod, default master level
2.7 speed at +85 mod, from +10 in tapes
8.0 speed at +95 mod, from +20 in tapes
20.0 speed at +98 mod, from +23 in tapes
Any speed at +100 mod, from the max alotted +25 in tapes.
*For Spin2, another common attack, the weapon speed would be very similar, as the time mod is 2.3 rather than 2.5 for the move.

For the slowest hit, areahit3 (3.25 secs), the weapon would need to be:
1.2 speed at +75 mod
2.0 speed at +85 mod
6.15 speed at +95 mod
15.4 speed at +98 mod
Any speed at +100 mod
A few examples, assuming headhit3 (spin2 will be faster):
A 3.7 hammer swung by an MHS will hit every 2.3 secs.
A 3.7 hammer swung byan MHS with +10speed tapewill hit every 1.4 secs.
A 3.7 hammer swung by an MHS with a +14 speed tape will hit every 1 sec, at the cap.

A 4.0 hammer swung by an MHS will hit every 2.5 secs.
A 4.0 hammer swung by an MHS with +10 speed tape will hit every 1.5 secs.
A 4.0 hammer swung by an MHS with +15 speed tape will hit every 1 sec, at the cap.

A 5.6 hammer swung by an MHS will hit every 3.5 secs.
A 5.6 hammer swung by an MHS with +10 speed tape will hit every 2.1 secs.
A 5.6 hammer swung by an MHS with +18 speed tape will hit every 1 sec, at the cap.
