Thread: when should a swordsman start using power hammers?

I have a 3.6 speed 167-465 PH and a 5.4 speed 167-585 PH.

The best time to use it is when you start running into things that have high kenetic resists (ie; most armour dressed players, ST's, nearly everything in the Corvette mission, etc).


As PH do blast damage, I find that its my favorite weapon against nearlt everything in game - though I have yet to use my scythe as yet (20k combat xp to go )

i started using the PHs at 0-2-0-2, gave me both speed and accuracy mods to help me hit more. UP until then i used a curved sword. YOu could technically start at novice but you will frustrate youself from missing so much.

unless yo uhave speed tapes toss the damage slice on the bazzar to get some of your cr back from it. And start using the speed slice all the way from novice IMHO. Lower mind cost, and far more favorible resits in 80+% of the mobs you will fight.
