Thread: Im doing everything I can, but I still cant Solo Elders, advice is my last hope =(

Im doing everything I can, but I cant Solo Elders. I can barely take them out with my MRifle/MCM buddy healing my mind constantly.
Im MSwords/MDoc/1000Scout No Tapes
Im wearing good 80% kin armor 68% base. Using Pikita pie 52%. 2x brandy 1x ahrisa, full buffs and mind buffs. Constantly keeping her intimitated, warcry when I need to heal my states. Im a zabrak so when my mind gets low I can heal it fully once per hour. None of this matters, she either just over powers me and I cant heal fast enough to survive, or she makes me flop and I cant recover in time.
What am I doing wrong? The pair of us barely can kill these things, and then after I get taken out I watch him conceal the bit*h faster than the 2 of us could have killed it with the constant healing. What gives?

Your armor could be a problem, they don't hit for just kinetic anymore they switch weapons so maybe your base isn't cutting it. Also are you getting at least musician buffs before going out?

u didnt mention it in your main post and i know it sounds stupid to suggest but are you keeping your COB on?

yeah COB running all the time, without it Id be dead in a few minutes lol
I just dont get it, having 68% as the base for my armor and not it all being eff sliced shouldent make that gigantic of a difference should it? I dont think that with 90% armor I could tank her she just does to much damage to me to quickly for me to manage, and I deal so very, very little to her. Calculated, I do 758dps befor her armor/resists, theres no way it can be done, the math just doesent work. Iv tried over 20 times with the same result, me cloning with nothing to show for it except a huge waste of my time.
Im going RIfleman, they can solo them without blinking. Swords isent worth the hassle when a rifleman can do the same job safer and quicker. Its depressing to hear the stories then watch a guildie take one down so easaly after Iv tried to hard with no results, he solos 6-7 a day with no issues. The closest iv EVER gotten is one down to 250K life, and that one had a gaffi.

ahhh...its good we can't solo everything all of the time. makes the game seem more...multiplayer?

SWG? Multiplayer? oh yeah... If I had 1 penny for every time the phrase "solo group" was spoken in 1 single day of SWG I could retire. LOL. We'v got to face that this isent a multiplayer game, its a multiple person interaction simulation single player role playing game... So its a. MPISSPRPG.

It sounds like you are doing everything you need to.... as with a lot of the hardest stuff I think Luck comes into play also. Some little tips I have gotten from others (some of which I am sure you are following):
- Only wear armor above 25K condition... once it gets below that you start getting beat on pretty good
- Keep CoB running at all times (you are)
- Healstates in certain priority(Dizzy, Blind, Stun, Intimidate)
- Always use First Aid if you get a bleed... don't wait
- If the Elder's mind gets low you can /taunt them to get them to start walking instead of running
- The last one and most important one I think is that I always try to engage them from far away so that as they run towards me I can /examine them and see what kind of weapon they have. If it's a Stun Baton, LVA, Scythe or Hammer I am running the other way and fast. Anything else an I give it my best shot.
It takes forever (like a half hour) this way but it is a good battle. I am actually contemplating taking Vubo and making him a Rifleman so that he and Aelei can hunt them together (using 2 comps and a wireless network) so that I can make quick work of them. It should be much more enjoyable doing it that way I think.

CoB does NOT work on Elders period, they have too high accuracy. Trust me I have capped counter and it never works.. ever.

Post some SS, i've solo'ed Elders for months and never seen one single counter.

Yea man I donno what else to tell u ...I've solod six of total. 4 out of those 6 I solod without having any medic skills whatsoever. Keep on the intimidate and like they said wear nothing less than 80% kin 85% base. Well I guess that you're prolly not speed capped or have an uber hammer like mine though.....

dude, the difference between not capped and capped is well over 5x the damage output, your saying that your capped and do it no prob, but say I should keep at it when I do 1/5 your damage..... thats just stupid man, could you kill one not capped? hell no, go ahead and try it lol,
